So no new games to geek about?

Postby Ganeda » November 1st, 2014, 1:07 am

I see Buzz is looking at a lot of games in early peeks, but nothing seems to be catching on?

Archage finally shipped and is available, anyone try it out?

I been playing Archeage, but am about done with it.

The game changed pretty drastically from Alpha/Beta to release.

It became so heavily economy driven that you can't hardly afford anything.

Bots and 3rd party programs basically ruled the day for the first 2 months causing people to heavily inflate prices, so now all the things that were fun to do in alpha/beta cost a ton of gold.

Ouch... and Archeage was one of my last hopes for a good game.

I would say, it is free to play, so no reason to NOT try it.

By not paying you cannot own land, of which there is none left to get anyway.....

Playing Tera with my son in F2P mode. Has changed a ton since first offering. They just released a new gunner class which I'm loving.

Look into Crowfall... it is a long way off but it is taking an anti-cookie cutter mold to the idea of an MMO and servers and permanence, while still maintaining continuity.

Thanks Vev. Looks promising.
Bits of Tera, GW2 and SWTOR mechanics mixed into this, per the vid.

This vid pretty much explains it all.
