E-Book Class Action Lawsuit

Post by LadyCelestine » October 15th, 2012, 4:24 pm

I'm sure almost everyone here has bought an e-book. But since not everyone buys direct from Amazon, I thought I'd post the links just in case you got missed on the notification.

Summary:
There is a class-action lawsuit against 5 publishers of e-books for conspiring to raise prices.

If you purchased one or more E-books from April 1, 2010 through May 21, 2012 that were published by any of the five Publishers (listed in Question 2 of the FAQ's), you may be eligible for a partial refund of the purchase price.

(Question 12 goes over what you need to do to get your settlement.)

I saw this from Amazon. I could get between .30 and 1.30 per book, depending... or something like that.

im pretty excited about this. Almost all my books are dl'd through Kindle, and i LOVE seeing Apple finally get bit by their unfair trade practices.
