There will always be that part of us, I think. But yeah, life has been hitting me pretty hard lately. I don't play much of anything any more. Net is too busy with the gf, which I can't blame him for even if I wish he'd get online more. :-) But I love that everyone keeps checking in and posting if they find any interesting games. Maybe someday we'll stumble on the Next Fun Thing and reconnect with the Shrub again!

I have been keeping a wandering eye on the re-population but have yet to speak with anyone in its EAP to date.

I've been waiting for that 'one game' to bring us back together for a long time. Sadly, I don't think It'll happen. When you get right down to it, We were all just people excited about SWTOR for a variety of reasons, and nothing since has appealed to enough of us to get any traction. Quite a few of us (myself, dan, goib, hertz, ganeda, sometimes Barl) have been hanging ot on Vent for the past year, but since the FF14 renaissance I dont even see them anymore. Unfortunately I just can't justify a sub game + buy in with a 70-75 hour work week. It sucks, and it makes me sad. I really miss you guys!

edit- Quite a few of us have pledged for Star citizen, check it out!

I still keep an eye out on the forums to see whats shaking.
I check in on vent from time to time, but its usually empty =(

I had high hopes for ArcheAge, but they screwed the pooch on that one.
Other than that the MMO scene has been is really depressing lately.

Keep posting of anything that looks worthwhile.
I'll mostly be playing Final Fantasy Type-0 HD and the FF15 demo next week and on.

hell yeah! If they get a lobby up you, dan, ganeda and I should do some closed fps action to get our skills up before we jump into the Imperium crowd. I joined an exploration squadron by the way, the Starhawks.

You took an entire week to birth?

We should be celebrating your mother......

Happy B-day none-the-less!

One thing to keep in mind about us.

We went over 10 full years after SWG to get to SWTOR. Heck in that time, we barely had a working forum, and there was no social media to speak of. While some of us had contact via other games here and there, we were basically dormant, both as a guild and a group of friends.

SWTOR changed all that, and it was awesome. Sadly game design hasn't yet reached the level of interconnectivity and freedom we all crave, but that day may yet come.

Honestly, notwithstanding everything we went through together in SWG and how great those years were, I feel closer to you guys and the spirit of the Shrub today than I did back then.

I love you guys!

Agreed! I miss the days when I would eagerly check the forums to see what DC and Sir Cheese were up to. But at the same time, I think we're all much closer now, despite the long absences.
