Magenta Crystal possibly rarest item in the game!

An interesting tidbit for the Artifice profession was dropped into the forum today regarding the rumors going around about the famed Magenta Crystal. Apparently you can forego feverishly Reverse Engineering in an attempt to drag up the little gem because it ain't popping out of that purple item.
Georg Zoeller wrote: "The Magenta Crystal does in fact exist, but it is not acquired through Reverse Engineering. At the present time, it could be classified as one of the rarest items in the game.
While I am not going to give any more information on how, where or from whom it may be acquired, I want to debunk the idea that you have to reverse engineer endgame gear to get it so people don't do stuff they regret."
So... Georg takes us from one obsession to another. If its the rarest item in the game, WE MUST HAVE IT!!! Go forth, Shrubbites, and seek the magestic Magenta Crystal!

I'm pretty sure you need to open a holocron and then grind the profession it tells you to get a jedimagenta crystal.

word on the forums is that the schematic drops from a world boss on Belsavis, but no confirmation yet.

Kind of off-topic, but I have a bunch of ~20'ish alts, so I'd be glad to help leveling and questing if anyone needs it ... alts are a Sentinel, Commando, and Sage
